In this session, the Office of the Kansas State Fire Marshal will provide updates on exciting changes at the State Fire Marshal’s Office and discuss construction, renovations, and remodels and when KSFM notification is required.

Objectives:

• Participants will be able to identify when it is necessary to notify KSFM of construction, renovations, or remodels in their buildings.
• Participants will describe how to set up a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize citations.
• Participants will list the recommended contents of a well-organized Fire Book.
